Eno (ugh) is Eno (ugh)
I recently spent some time revisiting the solid 2014 effort Someday World from legends Brian Eno and Karl Hyde under their ENO · HYDE moniker. Reminded me that while I’ve always appreciated Eno’s solo and collaborative work, I haven’t really delved too deeply into his production oeuvre. So here’s 18 or so songs from various LPs that Eno has produced (and a few personal favorite collabs) over the last 40-odd years. Let’s not be too precious here, it’s Eno music for Eno diehards and hopefully curious, uninitiated fans.
Jumps from afrobeat to alternative, obscure to universally beloved. Sure, I skipped over the supreme mega hits in lieu of lesser-known cuts from some of his biggest successes but that’s the point of this site. Find some new shit you might enjoy.
